The best thing about this bedroom besides that it sleeps 2 1/2 people is the windows that corner the room and let in a lot of light both morning and evening.
The closet is a new addition to the apartment. The apartment before renovation had a large door that could have held french doors, but held an accordion door instead. It also had a very awkwardly placed small closet to the right of the doors. Because privacy for nap time was needed and we had too many clothes, we opted to tear down the door frame, build the larger closet and put in a standard door.
As you can also see from the picture there is additional storage above.
Bookshelves were built in for our small book collection.
And another great feature about this apartment. It is in the back, so it doesn't get the loud street traffic, and there are no buildings right next to it so you don't have to look at brick walls when you open the window shades.
